3rd In Series- Chameleon Looooove

Elements and Principles- The use of the blue is complimenting the fact that it is the last of the series. The flowers are placed at the bottom to show that they are not just floating, but they are flowing with the branches. This Chameleon has plenty of colors to help make him pop, because he does have blue throughout him as well. Focus was used greatly in accomplishing him in general.
Intention- Look to 1st in series..

2nd Of the Series- Watercolor Current

Elements and Principles-Color use is important here to link it to the rest of the series. The color wheel  helped me understand placement and tones for compliments. The repetition helps the golden fish pop into life along with the bubbles.
Intention- This can be found in the first of the series.. Beauty is here through the world we are slowly killing; we need to stop that.

1st of the series- Toco Toucan

~Elements and Principles: The use of color and placement is important for this piece. With that being said, the color wheel helps one realize that the colors used in the flowers highly complement themselves. The background helps make these pop from being on the other side of the color wheel. Focus was used with the flowers and repetition as well to help create a focal point to the Toco Toucan.
~Intention: The main intention was to get across to the viewer that there are still beautiful animals out there, still alive. There is no reason to hurt your planet even though you do not see these animals on a daily basis from our concrete world.

Series of Watercolor

The main goal of this series is to get across the fact that our earth needs cleansing. We must cherish the world and the beautiful animals and other beings that cannot do anything about human made disasters. I cannot wait to show you the three I am working on- the next three posts will be the pictures of what I will then make into a collage series!

Crosses for Alzheimer's

~Elements & Principles-Texture of metallics with raspberry color. Spacing for equality and actual craft piece to form the story. Contour is definitely shown through the molded pieces and texture. Elements and Principles work well together in this piece.
~Intention-The intention of this piece was to show the person who bought the cross for donation, that the sky is not the limit and that adventure still await through positivity and even dreaming.

Abstract Scratchanese

~Elements-Line and color blocking and spacing shows through this. I needed the line work to flow well with the color blocking so I could make the piece have an abstract feel.
~Principles-Proportions definitely help with the way I was trying to get the image across-such as, the tiger reaching for the hummingbird; as well as, the lotus flowers flowing down the piece for a more vibrant feel.
~Intention-The key of this design was to express my love for growth and wilderness. I enjoy the fact that the lotus flowers are a simple sign for growth and life itself. The tiger and hummingbird resemble love in Japanese art and even further. The flow of the piece works well with the meanings and helps the viewer realize there is more to life in just color alone.

Elements and Principles of Design~

~Elements-The rainbow of colors, plus 7 others colors and mixture
~Principles-Layering of colors and abstract designs.
~Intention-The main intention of this piece was to create something that would inspire life, but also inspire someone to create and to know that life and growing should never be taken away from you. This resembles my losses in life and how I strive everyday to grow through my spirituality and light.
